Morris County - Madison - Modern Embroidery Workshop

Thursday, February 7 -- Morris County
from 7 to 9 pm --  Modern Embroidery Workshop

As part of our exhibit, Narrative Threads, we are excited to host an embroidery workshop on February 7 featuring instructor Meg Mullin.  In this 2-1/2 hour workshop participants will create an embroidery piece to display or gift proudly! The $25 fee includes a materials kit containing all you need to make your first project, and we'll share tools and resources for future use. Come prepared to have fun and use your hands. All levels welcome. Light refreshments provided.

Meg Mullin is a Madison mom, realtor, writer and maker passionate about needlepoint and fiber art.  She is excited to help others in their journey of embracing the power and value of hands-on creativity. Meg learned to sew and cross stitch as a young girl, and  after a 15-year hiatus, rediscovered this old-fashioned art as a respite from today's technology-saturated world. She has completed many projects and workshops - both in-person and online - with well-known fiber and needlepoint artists and is eager to help others learn the craft. You can follow her on Instagram @rosecitycreative.

Cost: $25 per person, $20 for METC Members Registration is required and available here 973-377-2982 | info@metc.org | metc.org | 9 Main Street, Madison, NJ
