Saturday, April 4 – Ocean County An Evening with Spirit - Presented by the Lacey Historical Society     On Saturday, April 4 th , the Lacey Historical Society will host  a fundraising event featuring psychic medium and paranormal investigator, Leslie Lagani. Leslie will utilize her mediumistic abilities to facilitate communication from those on the other side.  The program will take place at 7:00 pm at the Lacey Historical Society Schoolhouse, 126 Main Street, Forked River. Friday-Saturday, June 28-29 – Ocean County Lacey Historical Society’s Flea Market June 28 th  & 29 th , 2019 Lacey Historical Society’s Flea Market returns on Friday, June 28 th  and Saturday, June 29 th . Sales open both days at 8:00am and continue to 3:00pm.  You never know what you’ll find at the flea market! The event takes place in front of the Lacey Old Schoolhouse Museum, 126 South Main Street, right next door to Mrs. Walker’s Ice Cream Parlor . Personal guided tours of the Schoolhouse will be conducted 10am through Noon. Saturday, June 22 -- Ocean County LACEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS HOSTING A FABULOUS TEA PARTY Forked River: On Saturday, June 22 nd , the Lacey Historical Society will host an extravagant grown-up avant-garde Tea Party with an historical flare at the Old Schoolhouse Museum,  126 Main Street.  Guests are encouraged to dress in period Regency, Victorian or Edwardian fashion. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume and best hat.  For your entertainment, a staged mini historical vignette will be presented. In addition, for your pleasure a live concert featuring the enchanting sounds of the Dulcimer will be performed. Two seatings are available: 11:30am to 1:30pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The price is $25 per person, payable at the door. Saturday, March 23 -- Ocean County Appraisal Fair $$$  Have you ever wondered how much that keepsake, family heirloom, or antique gathering dust is worth?  Now you can find out when the Lacey Township Historical Society hosts Marilyn Melega and company from Old and New Legacies . Admission is only $5.00 at the door and will include a tour of the museum, light refreshments, and the appraisal of one item.  Additional items may be appraised for $5.00 each or $15.00 a collection.  The event will take place at 126 South Main Street in Forked River, Old school House Museum, Route 9, behind Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream Shop.
