Years ago children’s clothing had this decorative embroidery.

Saturday, June 1 - Holmdel, Monmouth County Smocking Demonstration On Saturday, visit Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel to  take a step back in time to see the art of smocking in action. Colleen Minis will be demonstrating the forgotten art that was extensively used in the 18th and 19th century.
