Tuesday, June 16 NJPAC, Rise Up North, and the City of Newark are hosting a program,"Protest to Power: The Making of Newark's First Black Mayor," next Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00pm (via Zoom) commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the election of Ken Gibson as Newark’s first African American Mayor.
