Saturday, December 7 - Walpack, Sussex County Walpack Christmas Join the Walpack Historical Society for a "Walpack Christmas" at the Rosenkrans Museum, Main Street, Walpack Center, NJ within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The celebration and open house will take place on  Saturday from  12:00 noon - 4:00 pm . The Rosenkrans Museum will be decorated in the old-fashioned style and refreshments will be served.  The museum, a circa 1850 one and a half story frame building with eyebrow windows, was once the typical style of home in the Delaware River Valley.  The Walpack Methodist Episcopal Church will also be open. Warren County - Hardwick - Octivities at Millbrook Village

Saturday, October 19  -  Hardwick, Warren County Octivities at Millbrook Village On Saturday, Millbrook Village will be open from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for  a day of activities for kids of all ages!  The fall foliage will be in its glory and the hills will be a blaze of vibrant colors. Volunteers and Park Rangers in period clothing will demonstrate some old fashion handcrafts and the children can make corn husk dolls, apple heads, leaf rubbings, potato stampings, a miniature cheesecloth ghost, a mask, or maybe even more. There will be lots of interesting things to see and do throughout the day. There will be a costume contest at approximately 1:00 pm at the VanCampen Farmhouse. Sussex County - Walpack - Van Campen Day

Sunday, October 13 - Walpack, Sussex County Van Campen Day On Sunday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm, the Walpack Historical Society and the National Park Service will present Van Campen Day. This annual event will take place at the Van Campen Inn on the unpaved section of Old Mine Road in Walpack Township, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Sussex County, NJ. The day will feature the Colonial Musketeers Fife & Drum, The Frontier Guard, Spinning demonstration by Lydia Chappini. Hikes to the slave cemetery provided by Frank Hennion and Gerald DeGroat. Bob Brandt will be demonstrating chair caning. Walt Colombo will be there with an apple press and corn grinding. The Sons of the American Revolution will have a display. Tours of the Inn, which boasts some of the finest woodwork and hardware of its period in Sussex County (circa 1750) will be conducted by costumed guides. Saturdays, June 15 through August 31   -  Hardwick, Warren County 1800s Village Life at Millbrook Stroll at your leisure through Millbrook Village.  Several buildings are open and staffed with rangers and volunteers demonstrating traditional skills and reminiscing about 1800s life in the village. The village will be open from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Millbrook Village is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Saturday,  June 29  -  Hardwick, Warren County Old Fashion Independence Day Celebration at  Millbrook Village Celebrate the 243rd anniversary of our independence at the 15th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Millbrook Village in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area from 10:000 am - 3:00 pm.  Join the townsfolk in the parade down Main Street at 1:00 pm and gather at the green in front of the general store for a patriotic speech given by one of our local celebrities. M ake a hat and a flag, bring your tin whistle or drum, wear your patriotic clothes and enjoy yourself. Got an instrument? Bring it along and help liven things up. Enter the watermelon eating contest after the parade for some refreshing fun. Everyone is invited to the frolic; kids of all ages are welcome! Saturday, May 25   -  Hardwick, Warren County Millbrook Village Spring Fling The Millbrook Village Society is happy to announce their Spring opening for Millbrook Village on Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Some of the volunteers will be demonstrating their crafts, but the focus will be on the leisure activities of a bygone era in a rural community. All work and no play isn’t fun every day!  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a day in the country. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you. The activities are sponsored by the Millbrook Village Society in cooperation with the National Park Service. All activities are free of charge and family oriented. Rain or Shine. Saturday, December 1  - Hardwick, Warren County Victorian Christmas at Millbrook Village On Saturday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, join park rangers and volunteers for a Victorian Christmas celebration. Village buildings, decorated in mid to late 19th-century style, will be open for tours and demonstrations. Watch holiday meals being prepared over an open fire or woodstove. Enjoy the many children's activities hosted in the Van Campen farmhouse, including many hands-on period toys, games, and Victorian crafts.  Millbrook Village is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
