Saturday, December 7  - Hardwick, Warren County Victorian Christmas at Millbrook Village On Saturday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, join park rangers and volunteers for a Victorian Christmas celebration. Village buildings, decorated in mid to late 19th-century style, will be open for tours and demonstrations. Watch holiday meals being prepared over an open fire or woodstove. Enjoy the many children's activities hosted in the Van Campen farmhouse, including many hands-on period toys, games, and Victorian crafts.  Millbrook Village is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Tuesday, December 3 – Warren County Father Christmas, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.    Visit with Father Christmas by the fire in the Summer Kitchen at the Van Nest-Hoff-Vannatta Farmstead on December 3, 2019, 5PM - 7PM. This has become an anticipated annual event for children of all ages.  Sponsored by Historic Preservation Commission of Harmony Township and Harmony Historical Society. Saturday, October 19  -  Hardwick, Warren County Octivities at Millbrook Village On Saturday, Millbrook Village will be open from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for  a day of activities for kids of all ages!  The fall foliage will be in its glory and the hills will be a blaze of vibrant colors. Volunteers and Park Rangers in period clothing will demonstrate some old fashion handcrafts and the children can make corn husk dolls, apple heads, leaf rubbings, potato stampings, a miniature cheesecloth ghost, a mask, or maybe even more. There will be lots of interesting things to see and do throughout the day. There will be a costume contest at approximately 1:00 pm at the VanCampen Farmhouse. Saturday, September 14 – Warren County  Agripalooza and Tractorcade  September 14, 2019 Raindate September 15, 2019 10AM - 3PM The Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Warren County will be holding their 2019 Agripalooza/Tractorcade at the Van Nest-Hoff-Vannatta Farmstead® on September 14, 2019, from 10 am until 3 pm.  Warren County Celebrates Local Agriculture                 with - Tractor Parade - Tack Sale - Workshops and Demonstrations - Live Animals - Agricultural Displays - Live Music - Food Vendor on site - Admission is Free     This event replaces our traditional Fall Open House. Sunday, September 1 - Hackettstown, Warren County 35th Annual Scandinavian Fest On Sunday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, attend the 35th Annual Scandinavian Fest is held at Vasa Park, which was built in the 1920s. It is a not-for-profit event to celebrate and promote the cultures, histories, and current life of the six Nordic nations: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Vasa Order of America is a Swedish-American fraternal, cultural and educational organization that was started in 1896. This event is held rain or shine. Tickets are $11 per person online or $14 at the gate for adults and $13 for seniors. Children 12 and under are free. Entry will be free for those dressed in authentic folk dress. Free parking. Saturday,  June 29  -  Hardwick, Warren County Old Fashion Independence Day Celebration at  Millbrook Village Celebrate the 243rd anniversary of our independence at the 15th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Millbrook Village in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area from 10:000 am - 3:00 pm.  Join the townsfolk in the parade down Main Street at 1:00 pm and gather at the green in front of the general store for a patriotic speech given by one of our local celebrities. M ake a hat and a flag, bring your tin whistle or drum, wear your patriotic clothes and enjoy yourself. Got an instrument? Bring it along and help liven things up. Enter the watermelon eating contest after the parade for some refreshing fun. Everyone is invited to the frolic; kids of all ages are welcome! Saturday, June 8 - Stewartsville, Warren County 3rd Annual ParkFest Event at Bread Lock Park The 3rd Annual ParkFest @ Bread Lock Park on Saturday features a family-friendly day of music, art, history, literature and more from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at one of the unique spots along Warren County's Morris Canal Greenway. ParkFest will host a series of acoustic solo performers and duos – bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music – playing a variety of styles; an art show in the barn; a classic car show; “Authors Alley” featuring published authors; kids activities; exhibits by history, environmental and community groups; food vendors; and dedication ceremonies unveiling new features at Bread Lock Park. Saturday, May 25   -  Hardwick, Warren County Millbrook Village Spring Fling The Millbrook Village Society is happy to announce their Spring opening for Millbrook Village on Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Some of the volunteers will be demonstrating their crafts, but the focus will be on the leisure activities of a bygone era in a rural community. All work and no play isn’t fun every day!  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a day in the country. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you.
