Wednesday, May 15 – Atlantic County Arlene Baker, Military Program: May 15 – Mark the date!     The public is invited to attend this program sponsored by the Buena Historical Society on Wednesday evening, May 15th, 2019.  We welcome guest speaker Arlene Baker. Arlene, a well-known speaker on the military, will present a special program entitled “Women in the Military.”         The program, which includes a slideshow and talk, begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Buena Vista Township Hall, 890 Harding Highway, Buena, NJ. Wednesday, March 20 – Atlantic County    On March 20, 2019 at 7:30 the Buena Historical Society will host  guest speakers Evan Washington and his sister, Michele Washington Wilson, right here at the Buena Vista Township Hall , 890 Harding Highway (Route 40) Buena, NJ.     Both local storytellers, born and raised in Newtonville, they will discuss the local athletes, veterans, the landmark Sandale Country Club, history of the King Center, the 4-H, Newtonville School, 7 th  Day Adventist Church, some of the destructive fires, summer day camp and much more.      We encourage everyone to attend & enjoy this & all the programs we offer. The Buena Historical Society has hosted presentations and programs every third Wednesday except July and August since December 1997.
