At a recent NJ Economic Development Agency conference a state solar expert told Rik van Hemmen: “If you can fit rooftop solar you would be crazy not to do it” This may be one of the first times Rik was told he was not crazy since his roof had already been solar for two years! Rik will discuss his experience with rooftop solar and provide some tips from an Owner’s point of view with regard to purchase and operation of rooftop solar and sustainable energy. 7:30pm: Coffee and Cookies.  8:00pm: Presentation. 9:00pm Close.  FREE event, ALL are welcome....

PUBLIC PRESENTATION: " Monmouth County Magical History Tour" by Rik van Hemmen 7:30pm, Tuesday, April 9th at Bahrs Landing Restaurant All the important colonial and revolutionary history of Monmouth County in a one loop swoop. A few years ago Rik van Hemmen was putting together some Monmouth county historical information and while he was doing that he made an interesting discovery. It is possible to start in Rumson and to make a loop of Monmouth County that hits all the important historical Colonial era and Revolutionary War sites in near chronological order.
