Sunday, February 9 – Somerset County     The next music program at the Vermeule Mansion will be on Sunday, February 9, at 3:00 PM. We will present North Plainfield resident violinist, Lucia Nowick. Lucia holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music, having studied at Julliard and at Rice University. Her performance will include works from the Great American Song book, and she will be accompanied by a pianist.      Admission is free, and refreshments will be served. The Mansion is at 614 Greenbrook Road, North Plainfield, NJ 07063.

S aturday, October 12 -- Mercer County On September 13, 1759, during the Seven Years' War (1756-63), a worldwide conflict also known in America as the French and Indian War, the British under General James Wolfe achieved a dramatic victory when they scaled the cliffs over the city of Quebec, capital of New France, defeating the French forces under Louis-Joseph Marquis de Montcalm. Sunday, October 6 – Morris County Works by Latin Composers Performed at Morris County Historical Society MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Spice up your Sunday afternoon serenaded by the  music of 19 th -century Latin composers Ricardo Castro and Teresa Carreno. Internationally acclaimed pianist Peter Toth (pictured) will play works by Castro, a Mexican composer and concert pianist, and Tammie Holloway, a trustee with the Boonton Historical Society and Museum and 40-year piano teacher, will play select pieces by Carreno, a Venezuelan pianist and conductor. The performances on our  1872 Chickering piano (pictured)  begin at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6, at MCHS’s Acorn Hall Music Room. Sunday, July 28 – Passaic County   On Sunday, July 28 th  at 5pm in Lambert Castle (at 3 Valley Road, Paterson NJ)  Annamaria Stefanelli and Rory Angelicola return to the Lambert Castle Concert Series and present  An Afternoon of Italian Opera Plus.     The program is filled with beautiful Italian arias and duets as well as other operatic favorites. The performance will also include favorites from the classical American Musical repertoire. Join us for an afternoon of moving music!  Admission to the concert is $15. Seating is limited, no reservations will be taken.    This performance is a part of the 2019 Lambert Castle Concert Series.
