Mercer County - Trenton - African American History in Quilts – The Sankofa Stitchers
Saturday, February 29 – Mercer County African American History in Quilts – The Sankofa Stitchers Meet members of the quilting guild, see their work, and learn about their inspiration in the African American experience The Trent House Association presents African American Artistry in Quilts, a talk by members of the Princeton Sankofa Stitchers Modern Quilt Guild whose work is currently on display at the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie. The Trent House program, which will include displays of additional quilts accompanied by poetry, will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the William Trent House Museum, 15 Market Street (across from the Hughes Justice Complex) , Trenton, NJ 08611.
