Afternoon Tea in the Gardens Sunday, June 9 Back by popular demand, enjoy our tremendously popular tea service in our beautiful gardens! In the grand tradition of Mary Alice (Barney) Kean, the last lady of the house, join Liberty Hall for its exquisite Afternoon Tea. The tea includes a sumptuous selection of scones, assorted pastries, traditional finger sandwiches, and the freshest of fruit. Colonial Days Saturday, May 18 The life of a child is chock full of amazing things; games to play, chores to do, school to attend, and a whole world to explore. Children will step back in time and experience a day in the life of a child in the late 1700s. Discover and delight in the similarities and differences of a child's life in the 18th century by playing games, doing farm chores and more! Children will also get to make their own tricorn hat or colonial bonnet. Light refreshments will be served as well. Recommended for ages 5 - 10. Book 'em Workshop Friday, April 26 Liberty Hall Museum's book collection will inspire the artist in every person! Get a peek into our book collection, including some rare first editions! Learn the history of book making and then create your own handmade books. Using origami techniques, participants will create three different types of books. The books provide an ideal platform for poetry, journaling, art, recipes and countless other uses. Light refreshments will be served. A great night out with friends! Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 20 Children will explore the grounds of Liberty Hall, searching for plastic eggs hidden throughout the landscape and filled with holiday treats. A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny caps off the event. Rain or Shine! Space is limited to 100 children per session. Opening Day of Liberty Hall Museum Tuesday, April 2 Public tours of Liberty Hall Museum will resume!  Program Time: Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tours leave every hour; the last tour leaves at 3 p.m. Program Fee: $12.00 for Adults; $10.00 for Kean Alumni; $8.00 for Seniors & Children (3-17 years old). Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party! Saturday, March 2 Join Liberty Hall Museum for a super good time at our Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party! Saturday, February 16 – Union County Frozen Ball Saturday, February 16th, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.      Liberty Hall has been Frozen over by Queen Elsa and icy powers! Join us at this Frozen-themed event and make a craft, plays games, and warm up at our delicious hot chocolate bar with some sweet treats. Galentine's Day Party Wednesday, February 13 Leslie Knope said it best -- "What's Galentine's Day? Only the BEST day of the year!" And that, ladies, it is!
