Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen's Museum   Visit Us from Home! The Seaport Museum, Gift Shop, Boardwalk, and Grounds are closed to any outside visitors through May 1st. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will reopen once it is safe to do so. For now, we need to ask you to stay home. We hope you stay connected and stay safe. NJCAR Workshops in Disaster Preparedness for Cultural Institutions Planning ahead for emergencies is vital for the long-term survival of any business, and the same applies to the cultural community. The arts and cultural organizations in New Jersey are an important part of the state’s economy. We want to help ensure that they can connect with resources to help them manage a crisis effectively, and recover as quickly as possible afterwards. Wine Basket Class November 16 @ 10:00 am  -  2:00 pm $25 – $30 Instructor: Mary May Date/Time: Saturday November 16, 2019 10am – 2pm Fee: $25 members/ $30 nonmembers, plus additional $15 materials fee What’s better than wine? Wine in a basket! This wine tote has remained a popular favorite. Choose from a single bottle wine basket or a double bottle wine carrying basket each with a new twill accent weave and an oak swing handle. Great for yourself or as a holiday gift! Total cost for registration includes a materials fee and a class fee. Why two fees? The material fee covers the use of everything you need to complete your basket: tools, molds (if needed), reed, handle, etc. The class fee supports the local artisan and the Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum  (a non-profit 501c3). Haunted Seaport will take place on Thursday through Sunday, October 17 – 20 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm each night (the last admission will be at 8pm or earlier depending on capacity). Pirates and Sea Captains long lost at sea will stroll the Seaport’s boardwalk for a night of screams. Climb aboard a hayride for a ghostly howling good time through the Haunted Woods. Lighthouse Challenge 2019 October 19 @ 8:00 am  -  5:00 pm October 20 @ 8:00 am  -  5:00 pm   $3 Climb to the top of the Tucker’s Island Lighthouse as one stop during the Lighthouse Challenge of New Jersey! Saturday, September 7 - Tuckerton, Ocean County Ye Old Clamtown Antique Flea Market On Saturday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, the Tuckerton Historical Society hosts its annual Ye Old Clamtown Antique Flea Market at Tip Seaman Park in Tuckerton, NJ. The flea market will feature about 70 vendors. Support the Tuckerton Historical Society as they celebrate 43 years of hosting this event.
