Morris County - Morristown - Free Outdoor Concert - Songs of Independence

Sunday, July 7  - Morristown, Morris County Free Outdoor Concert - Songs of Independence Linda Russell and Companie will perform music to celebrate American Independence. Accompanied by hammered and mountain dulcimers, guitar, fiddle and pennywhistle, the quintet will explore the celebration of American Independence through ballads, broadsides, patriotic anthems, marches, and dance tunes.  The audience will be invited to sing along to favorites ranging from "Yankee Doodle" and "America the Beautiful" to "You're a Grand Old Flag" and "This Land is Your Land." Admission to the concert is FREE - bring lawn chairs or blankets.  In case of adverse weather conditions, the concert may be moved to the Museum Auditorium. Morristown National Historical Park is located at 30 Washington Place, Morristown, NJ. It begins at 2:00 pm and run until 3:30 pm. No reservations necessary.
