Grounds For Sculpture https://www.groundsforsculpture.org/art/ How we would love to roam the 42 manicured acres of Grounds For Sculpture. For now, however, we will have to settle for an interactive map on the website of this outdoor sculpture museum and arboretum in Hamilton, and a glimpse of its more than 400 pieces of art. Grounds For Sculpture recently suffered the loss of its founder, Seward Johnson, who died March 10. A quote from Johnson graces the website: "It's easy sometimes to forget the simple things that give us pleasure. If we open our eyes, life is marvelous."

Ocean County - Toms River - Bus Trip to the Grounds for Sculpture

Thursday, April 18 – Ocean County tour Go West! Ocean County Historical Society invites you to join us in a bus trip to visit the Trenton area on Thursday, April 18 th .  We will visit the Grounds for Sculpture, in Hamilton Township, which features more than 270 contemporary sculptures by renowned and emerging artists. Enjoy all of them as you stroll the grounds, and afterward dine on your own at the Peacock Café. Also on the itinerary is the New Jersey State Museum, located in downtown Trenton; it includes exhibits on NJ history, local Indian tribes, the arts & more. The cost is $50 for members, $60 for non-members, which includes a chartered bus, driver’s gratuity and admissions. Lunch is on your own. We depart from the Ocean County Historical Society, 26 Hadley Ave., Toms River promptly at 9:00 AM and return at approximately 5:00 PM. Free parking is available in the O.C.
