September 28 – Trip to Cape May County sites A mini-trip via van will take place to local World War II sites that include Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum and Fire Control Tower No. 23 in Cape May on  September 28 . Full details are given at  www.somerspointhistory.org . Cost is $38 for nonmembers and $35 for members of the Somers Point Historical Society. The complete itinerary is online plus the trip policy. Commissioned in April 1943, NASW served as an active dive-bomber squadron training facility during World War II.
