March 21 – Mercer County Girl Scout Workshop  at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. --  $18 per girl, $10 per adult Registration through the Girl Scouts      Offering four different workshops in one day for Brownies and Juniors . Brownies can earn their Dancer badge by learning dance steps taken throughout history, as well as earn their Celebrating Community badge and discuss ways to become productive and contributing members of society. Juniors can earn their Gardener badge with Horticulturist Louise Senior, and may also join Morven’s Curator of Education Debra Lampert-Rudman for a writing workshop to earn their Scribe badge. Saturday, January 4 -- Mercer County GIRL SCOUT BADGE WORKSHOPS: 18TH & 19TH C. DANCER, SCRIBE, & SOCIAL BUTTERFLY  Three different workshops in one day for Brownies and Juniors! Saturday, January 4 from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. $18 including all supplies, snacks, and badge; $10 per parent. Includes admission into museum and grounds following or before the workshop. Saturday, March 2 – Mercer County Girl Scouts Badge Workshops Saturday, March  2  from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. $18 including all supplies, snack, and badge Morven Museum & Garden, 55 Stockton Street, Princeton Scribe Girl Scout Badge Workshop- Juniors    Morven is the home of one of America’s first female published poets, Annis Boudinot Stockton. The Girl Scouts will tour Morven Museum with the Curator of Education to “meet” Annis and learn a bit about her life and writing. To complete the Poetry part of the Scribe badge, each girl will write a Haiku (a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.) The scouts will also write a group short story, “words about me,” a newsletter, and Letter to the Editor for a fun-filled afternoon. All materials, badge, and snack provided.
