Cumberland County - Greenwich - Children’s Program: The Greatest Captain in the World

Tuesday, July 23 – Cumberland County Cumberland County Historical Society – Children’s Program (Ages K-6 th  grade students) The Cumberland County Historical Society will host a “Children’s Program” on Tuesday evening, July 23, 2019,  at 6 p.m. to be held at the Warren and Reba Lummis Genealogical and Historical Library located at 981 Ye Greate Street, Greenwich, New Jersey.     Students (ages K-6 th  grade) are invited to hear and “act out” the story of  The Greatest Captain in the World  with the co-author of the story, Captain Johann Steinke! He is currently Captain of the Schooner, A.J. Meerwald, New Jersey’s official Tall Ship.  The story includes sailing on the high seas, storms, sea monsters, and adventure! Each moment is a mystery when you are at sea—you never know what is going to happen next!  The book  The Greatest Captain in the World,   will also be available for purchase at this event.  To learn mor...
