Saturday,  March 9  - Holmdel, Monmouth County Spinning and Knitting Demonstration On Saturday, visit Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel and be inspired to learn an old craft. Jodey Forbes will be demonstrating the art of spinning fleece and then demonstrating various stitches in knitting. This free event runs from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Saturday, February 2  - Holmdel, Monmouth County Purls of Wisdom Knitting Bee O n Saturday, gather your needles and yarn, and come sit a spell! This gathering at Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel is a great opportunity to share patterns, get some work done on a forgotten project, or to learn a new hobby. Farm staff will be on hand to help newcomers with casting on or to teach the basics.
