American Labor Museum/Botto House National Landmark Sponsors Annual Sol Stetin Golf Open Haledon, New Jersey –  The American Labor Museum/Botto House National Landmark will sponsor its Annual Sol Stetin Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 25th, 2020 at the Pebble Creek Golf Club in Colts Neck, New Jersey. A shotgun start will be at 12:00 PM. Lunch and dinner will be served. The Golf Tournament is named in honor of a founder of the Museum, Sol Stetin. Mr. Stetin was the former president of the Textile Workers’ Union of America. Saturday, April 4, 2020 5:00 pm • Cocktails, music and auction in the Grist Mill 7:30 pm • Dinner hosted in DRMS member homes TICKETS This wonderful event helps us raise funds to support the preservation and restoration of the historic mill complex, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guests enjoy cocktails, dinner and live auction items. The fun starts with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. in the Grist Mill, the centerpiece of the complex. During cocktails, patrons can bid on items in the silent and live auctions.

Sunday, June 7 -- Morris County The Museum Garden Club of Jefferson will hold a perennial plant sale on June 7th, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Museum, 315 Dover Milton Road, Jefferson Township , NJ. Locally grown perennials will be available for sale. Members of the Garden club including NJ Master Gardeners will be on-site to assist shoppers with your plant selections and your gardening questions. The proceeds from the sale support the garden club's efforts to maintain Miss Elizabeth's Garden on the grounds of the Jefferson Township Museum. The Jefferson Township Museum will be open for a soft opening on the same date and time. Miss Elizabeth's Gift Shoppe will also be open. All COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed.

Register now for Hudson River bus tour      Everything is set for our bus trip along the Hudson River,  Saturday and Sunday, April 25th & 26th.  We'll be travelling up the west side of the Hudson River, with stops at  several Revolutionary War sites  with a few special guides and programs, then having dinner and staying overnight in West Coxsackie, NY. Although it means a little more of the bus ride after our last stop, it saves us from a really early start on Sunday to make our first Sunday site. On Sunday, we'll come back south along the east side of the Hudson, with stops at  Olana and Clermont Mansion , both New York State Historic Sites. For the complete itinerary as well as a description of the places we'll be visiting,  click here .      The cost is $245 per person and includes everything but dinner on our way home. To view the registration form, which gives you more infor...
