ROUND STATEN ISLAND CRUISE
on the Mariner
Departing Saturday, JULY 11th at 8:00am from Atlantic Highlands Marina
NMHA and Classic Boat Rides are offering a Round Staten Island Cruise on the good ship Mariner on July 11th. At 0800 the Mariner will leave the dock at ATLANTIC Highlands and return at approx. 1600 (4pm). Only the first 24 passengers and guests can participate in this day-long adventure. Captain Dan and Leader Rik will provide commentary of the sights as we circumnavigate this historic island that became part of NYC in 1898.

Registration is required at $70 per person. Physical distancing is possible at 50% capacity. In view of the coronavirus situation, we ask that you bring your own breakfast and lunch. Free coffee, tea, and snacks will be available in addition to a cash bar for water and other beverages. More information HERE.
A highlight of our cruise will be a private tour of the 1907 historic ferry SS Yankee located on the North Shore of the Island. It's now fitted out as a gorgeous Victorian-style Bed & Breakfast. More HERE

We shall pass the largest container port on the East Coast, the  Port of New York and New Jersey, and historic landmarks, including the Staten Island 9/11 Memorial.


Navesink Maritime Heritage Association
Navesink Maritime Heritage Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving knowledge and appreciation of Monmouth County's maritime heritage through programs that teach wooden boat building and the boat handling skills; through preserving the history of Monmouth County's wooden boat builders and rich maritime history; and through experiential on-the-water programs of River Rangers for middle school children and Sea Scout Ship Navesink for coed youth age 14-21.
