“Long Time Coming: A 1955 Baseball Story”

In celebration of Black History Month, the USGA Golf Museum will host a special screening of a new documentary which opened theatrically nationwide on October 23, 2018. The players of the first racially integrated Little League Baseball game in the South stepped onto the field in a non-violent act of cultural defiance that would change the course of history. The cultural challenges highlighted in this film cross over many sports, including the game of golf. Following the 1:00 p.m. screening at USGA Headquarters, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the museum for a tour and to view an exhibit curated for this event.

Seating is limited and admission is free. Reservations are first come, first served and required by 2/20/19. For more information or to make a reservation please email kgianetti@usga.org or kgeppert@usga.org.
