Monmouth County - Aberdeen - Twilight Hike at Freneau Woods Park

Twilight Hike at Freneau Woods Park
(ages 8 and up, under 18 with adult)
Saturday, November 17, 4:00-5:00 PM
Freneau Woods Park, Aberdeen (meet in the Monastery parking area)

Join a Park System Naturalist to explore the twilight hours in one of the Park System’s most recent  acquisitions – Freneau Woods. This 158-acre park sits at the headwaters of Matawan Creek and is  made up of mostly woodlands and wetlands, a perfect combination to see or hear wildlife. Twilight  time is a special time of the day when both animals of the day and animals of the night may be  enjoyed; such as bats, owls, foxes and flying squirrels. Join us outside as we discover some of the  wonderful animals that call Freneau Woods home. We’ll walk one mile, round trip. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather.
