Peachfield, 180 Burrs Road, Westampton, NJ 08060
Join us at Peachfield to hone your hearth cooking skills with Open Hearth Cook Margaret Quinn. If you are interested in cooking the way our ancestors did, this program is for you. Margaret will instruct participants in preparing a multi-dish meal. Learn the fundamentals of open-hearth cooking and how to interpret an 18th century receipt. Dishes will include seasonal foods from the Colonial period. The cooks will then partake of the food they prepared. No experience is needed - just a desire to learn and to have fun. Copies of the period receipts used in class will be provided to participants.

FEE: $45 per person (includes morning coffee, supplies and handouts); Prepaid
reservations are required. Minimum number of participants 6; Maximum 12

The program takes place at Peachfield, the Headquarters of The National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of New Jersey, 180 Burrs Road, Westampton, NJ 08060. Please call 609/267-6996 or email colonialdamesnj@comcast.net
