If you are going to the beach this summer or have eaten seafood in the past, chances are pretty good you have encountered members of the phylum Mollusca but didn’t know it. Mollusks are not fish, but are common critters along the Jersey shore, from squid, scallops, snails, oysters, and clams (a favorite ingredient in chowders), there are more than 100,000 known species of mollusks. Join us for a fun evening as we discover the life and times of these many surprising spineless species.
