On Saturday and Sunday, visit Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel to learn how potatoes are grown and harvested. Help the Longstreet Farm staff bring in the crop, and dig some potatoes to take home for your own family. Stop by the summer kitchen for some 19th-century inspiration on how to prepare them at home. This free event runs from 12:00 - 2:00 pm each day. Saturday, June 29  - Burlington Township, Burlington County Historic West Hill Manor  220th Anniversary Historic West Hill Manor will celebrate its 220th Anniversary on Saturday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.  Talk to Colonial soldiers about their life on the march and in battle. Learn to make your own ice cream and how to use a spinning wheel. The kids will enjoy our new Toy Room and play with toys from the past. Our handmade dollhouse will also be on display. At 3:00 pm, there will be a special presentation on Freemasonry and The Underground Railroad.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12.
