The Foster-Armstrong House (FAH), circa 1790, is a two-story Dutch colonial located on SC521/320 River Road, about 1 mile north of the Milford/Montague Bridge. It is listed on the State Historic Register of NJ and is a National Historic Register Site. The Nelden-Roberts Stonehouse (NRS) is a historic Montague house also located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and maintained by M.A.R.C.H. Circa early 1820s, this building served as one of the four original school houses in Montague.
