Morris County - Morris Plains - Summer Evenings at the Stickley Museum

Fridays in August – Morris County

Take advantage of summer’s longer days and warmer weather! Evening tours of Gustav Stickley’s Log House will run on a limited basis this August, unlocking the museum after-hours for an out of the ordinary experience. In the early 20thcentury, evenings were for entertaining; from quiet leisure activities to formal parties and lively dances.

Our popular guided tours are personalized and illuminating; our guides are well-informed and enthusiastic. And in the warmth of summer’s early evening, before the sun sets on the day, the bygone world of this iconic building comes to life in a whole new light! Afterward, you might even ask your guide to recommend a charming area restaurant. What better way to end a summer day?
