Mount Tabor’s 2nd Annual Ghost Walk

  The Mount Tabor Arts Collaborative and the Mount Tabor Historical Society present the Mount Tabor Ghost Walk that will take place on Friday, October 18, 6pm – 10pm and Saturday, October 19, 5:30pm – 10pm. Walks leave every 15 minutes with 16 patrons per time slot.
  The Mount Tabor Ghost Walk is based on true events. Every neighborhood has a house different from the rest. On the scariest time of year, come to the second annual Ghost Walk and discover the secrets within…if you dare!

  Tickets $15. Limited time slots. Advance purchase and registrations ONLY.

Dress for the weather as the Walk is hilly and outdoors, rain or shine.
(Umbrellas are discouraged. Rain ponchos are the way to go.)

  PARKING: Please park at the Methodist Church of Mount Tabor located just down the street at 5 Simpson Ave., Mount Tabor, NJ 07878.

It is a short walk to the Tabernacle to check-in.

  CHECK-IN: Arrive 15 minutes before your time slot in the Tabernacle located at 26 Simpson Ave., Mount Tabor, NJ 07878.

Saturday, June 29  - Burlington Township, Burlington County Historic West Hill Manor  220th Anniversary Historic West Hill Manor will celebrate its 220th Anniversary on Saturday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.  Talk to Colonial soldiers about their life on the march and in battle. Learn to make your own ice cream and how to use a spinning wheel. The kids will enjoy our new Toy Room and play with toys from the past. Our handmade dollhouse will also be on display. At 3:00 pm, there will be a special presentation on Freemasonry and The Underground Railroad.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12. Saturdays until October 5  - Cape May, Cape May County Whalers Cottages at Batts Lane Self-guided Tour On Saturday between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm, take a self-guided tour of two beautifully restored, historic cottages that Chris & Dave Clemans have just donated to  Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities ! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Owen Coachman House incorporates a c. 1700 “Whalers Cottage” - one of the oldest surviving structures in Cape May County. It was moved to this site in 1846 by Owen Coachman, a free black man who purchased land here for a farm. A tour of this site brings to life the important story of our county’s free African American community in the years before the Civil War.  Admission is $10 per adult and  children (ages 3-12) $5 .
