July 31, 2018 - 2:00 pm and 6:15 pm

"Grand Slam Summer Series" - A series of films dedicated to our National Pastime.  A joint venture sponsored by the Township of Ocean Historical Museum and the Ocean Township Branch of the Monmouth County Library.  One free film per week, every Tuesday in July and August 2018, at the Library. Check out the line-up, mark your calendar, and stop by the Museum to take in our Prohibition exhibit on your way to the show.

This Week: A college professor is working on a long term experiment when a baseball comes through the window destroying all his glassware. The resultant fluid causes the baseball to be repelled by wood. Suddenly he realizes the possibilities and takes a leave of absence to go to St. Louis to pitch in the big leagues where he becomes a star and propels the team to a World Series appearance. Director: Lloyd Bacon; Stars: Ray Milland, Jean Peters, Paul Douglas; Runtime: 87 min

The Ocean Township Library is located directly behind the Museum at 701 Deal Road, Ocean, NJ 07712
