Tuesday, November 12 – Ocean County

    The Brick Township Historical Society will hold its next meeting on November 12, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. at the Herbertsville Firehouse, 601 Herbertsville Rd., Brick. 

    Kevin Woyce, author, photographer, and lecturer will give a program about NJ State Parks, showing original photographs from around the state. He will explain how many of the original peoples of the area influenced the names of places in the state. Also, he will speak of industry and the beginnings of our transportation system with the building of canals.

    Free admission; the public is welcome. Parking is in the rear of the firehouse.

Burlington County - Burlington - Historic West Hill Manor 220th Anniversary

Saturday, June 29  - Burlington Township, Burlington County Historic West Hill Manor  220th Anniversary Historic West Hill Manor will celebrate its 220th Anniversary on Saturday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.  Talk to Colonial soldiers about their life on the march and in battle. Learn to make your own ice cream and how to use a spinning wheel. The kids will enjoy our new Toy Room and play with toys from the past. Our handmade dollhouse will also be on display. At 3:00 pm, there will be a special presentation on Freemasonry and The Underground Railroad.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12.
