Friday, September 21 – Somerset County UNCORK YOUR CREATIVITY AT PAINT & SIP FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 AT THE JACOBUS VANDERVEER HOUSE     Bedminster, NJ…Relax and unwind with friends while learning to paint with professional artist and educator Priscilla Flores, Friday, September 21, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bedminster’s historic Jacobus Vanderveer House & Museum. Participants will learn painting styles and techniques, while creating their own masterpieces using acrylics on canvas. Cost of the program is $35. Museum members $25. Includes supplies for painting and sipping. Registration required.  Visit https://jvanderveerhouse.givezooks.com/events/copy-of-paint-and-sip  or call 908-396-6053.     Priscilla Flores is a visual artist and New Jersey-certified art educator, working with paint, photography and clay. She has instructed students throughout Somerset County for the past five years, and currently teaches art in the upper school at Morristown-Beard School in Morristown, NJ. Ms. Flores holds a master’s degree in Education from Boston College. She studied visual arts at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and School of Visual Arts in New York, as well as ceramics at Raritan Valley Community College.      Operated by the nonprofit Friends of The Jacobus Vanderveer House (a 501(c)(3) organization) for the past 20 years, the museum is located at 3055 River Road and can be accessed via River Road Park.
