Celebrate Westfield 300 with “Colonial” Meal and Drink Tasting Event
As part of the celebration of Westfield’s 300th Anniversary, the Westfield 300 Committee, the Westfield Historical Society and the Miller-Cory House Museum have planned a “Colonial” dinner and drink tasting event to be held at 16 Prospect Wine Bar Bistro on Sunday, February 23, 2020, from 2-4pm. Eat, drink and be merry (the way George Washington did!).
During this event, guests will enjoy special Colonial food samplings as well as Colonial-inspired tavern drinks. Guests should be 21 years of age in order to attend. Special recipes, provided by the Miller-Cory House Museum, will be prepared for sampling; and Colonial history-inspired drinks will be sampled during a presentation of “Wet Westfield – A Virtual Pub Crawl” by the Westfield Historical Society’s, Meg Wastie (pictured).
Space is limited and reservations should be made as soon as possible by emailing westfieldhistoricalsociety@gmail.com or by calling (908)654-1794. The $40.00 per person fee for the event should be paid, in advance, online at www.westfieldhistoricalsociety.org/events; or by mail, (check payable to Westfield Historical Society) P.O. Box 613, Westfield, NJ 07091. Reservations & payments should be received by February 15.
16 Prospect Wine Bar & Bistro is located at 16 Prospect Street, Westfield
