A compelling look at the men and women who took extraordinary risks for freedom presented by gifted storyteller TAHIRA. Her program includes freedom songs which included coded messages used by enslaved Africans to devise plans for escape. Emphasizes courage in the face of injustice.

One Session $5.00 Per Person

Burlington County - Burlington - Historic West Hill Manor 220th Anniversary

Saturday, June 29  - Burlington Township, Burlington County Historic West Hill Manor  220th Anniversary Historic West Hill Manor will celebrate its 220th Anniversary on Saturday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.  Talk to Colonial soldiers about their life on the march and in battle. Learn to make your own ice cream and how to use a spinning wheel. The kids will enjoy our new Toy Room and play with toys from the past. Our handmade dollhouse will also be on display. At 3:00 pm, there will be a special presentation on Freemasonry and The Underground Railroad.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12.
