Brilliant Performance of New Jersey Militia

Come to the Ocean County Historical Society, 26 Hadley Avenue, Toms River on February 9, 2019 (or February 16th if snow) at 2:00 PM to hear historian and genealogist Russell Dutcher present “The New Jersey Militia During the American Revolution.” He will focus on the Dutch and French Huguenot guerillas who forestalled British advances and earned compliments from General George Washington. Learn what was happening in Somerset, Essex, Sussex, and Middlesex counties and how the Revolutionary War in many ways was a civil war between Loyalists and Patriots.
