Morven’s Horticulturists Louise Senior and Charlie Thomforde take you on an entertaining and educational tour of the national landmark’s Victorian-themed gardens and their history as well as the tools, techniques, and plants of what many consider the Golden Age of Horticulture. The Victorian era, a time when plant explorers introduced new and exotic annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and vines into the marketplace, also saw the early days of lawnmowers, glass houses, and even the glass cucumber straightener!
