10 a.m. Chip Riddle will talk about the Shootout in Jutland, NJ, in December 1926.

The New Jersey State Police laid siege to and shot up the Meany Farmhouse. The talk will deal with how and why this happened and the aftermath which included a State Police investigation and a civil trial in Flemington in 1927 and eventually resulted in a major reorganization of the State Police.
