Plainfield Public Library is happy to announce the 2019 Tri-County History Fair for Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties. Join your colleagues, friends, and neighbors for a fun day of historical discovery, resource sharing, raffles, and more.

Our featured speaker this year is Dr. Lawrence Hogan, who will present, "The Best Kept Secret in American Journalism: The Associated Negro Press." This program is part of the Public Scholars Project sponsored by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
Register now to reserve a table for your organization at the Tri-County History Fair. Although there is a focus on the tri-county area of Middlesex, Somerset, and Union, organizations from across New Jersey are welcome. This is a great opportunity to reach a wide audience and promote your historic site, the history of your community, and your upcoming activities.

The registration fee of only $20 covers the cost of two boxed lunches, two bottled waters, and two raffle tickets. Additional lunches may be ordered for an additional cost.

Deadline for registration is Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

To register, contact Sarah Hull at sarah.hull@plfdpl.info or (908) 757-1111 ext. 136. To register by mail, please see the attached form.

Personal checks are not accepted. Credit Card payments are available via PayPal; please contact Sarah for details.  Once registered, we will contact you for your lunch box preference at the phone number or email you provide. There are limited tables with access to electrical outlets; we will assign these tables by request on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions.

All activities will be indoors and are free to the public. The Plainfield Public Library is located at 800 Park Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060, and is an ADA-accessible facility. Please feel free to distribute this flyer to other interested parties.
