Water media artists from New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey have submitted work to Garden State Watercolor Society’s 49th annual juried show. Juror James Toogood selected artwork for the $5000 in cash and prizes to be announced at the opening reception.
Internationally known New Jersey artist James Toogood teaches painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and is a member of the AWS, NWS, AAA and GSWS. His hyperrealistic paintings have won numerous awards. He has contributed to over twenty art books and magazines. He is the author of “Incredible Light and Texture in Watercolor.”

Saturday, June 29  - Burlington Township, Burlington County Historic West Hill Manor  220th Anniversary Historic West Hill Manor will celebrate its 220th Anniversary on Saturday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.  Talk to Colonial soldiers about their life on the march and in battle. Learn to make your own ice cream and how to use a spinning wheel. The kids will enjoy our new Toy Room and play with toys from the past. Our handmade dollhouse will also be on display. At 3:00 pm, there will be a special presentation on Freemasonry and The Underground Railroad.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12.
