4TH OF JULY WEEKEND AT ALLAIRE!
American Flag Celebration, July 4, 5, and 7

Join us and Celebrate the USA in the Chapel for a one-of-a-kind display of Antique American Flags from the Historic Allaire Collection. Rarely put on display, these flags represent the heart of American History from the area. Get an up-close view of each stitch, star and detail of these treasured flags of the past. $2 per person to view the flags on display for 3 days from July 4th, July 5th and July 7th. There is also a $5 per car fee to enter the park. There is a separate special event on July 6th.

Most RARE – The Eagle Flag
Dimensions: 10’x15’ wool bunting with cotton stars; machine stitched stripes with hand stitched stars, circa 1850 - 1880.

The 24-Star Flag
Dimensions: 3’ x 5’ vintage commemorative flag circa 1900-1921 (it is unusual to see a flag with this low star count that was made in the early 1900’s. It is thought that this flag may have been constructed for the Missouri centennial of 1921. (wool bunting with cotton stars)

3 Total – The 46-Star Flags
Dimensions of each: 10’x13’; 10’x15’; 8’x10’ circa 1908-1912 (wool bunting with cotton stars)

Saturday, July 6

Join us July 6th, for this SPECIAL one-day Patriotic Celebration that will feature an antique flag exhibit, live music, food, craft vendors, patriotic pet & stroller parade, entertainment, beer/wine tent and more! An interactive exhibit at the Row House featuring historic "Travel Trunks" and Quilts from the Allaire collection.

Take time over the holiday weekend to stroll the village grounds for a festive day complete with 19th century craft demonstrations (blacksmithing, carpentry, wood carving, tinsmithing, cooking), militia training, tri-corner hat-making, red-white-blue weaving and candle-making, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, cake and toasts in front of Mr. Allaire's Residence, old-fashioned children's games on the green and much more! Patriotism abounds at Allaire, complete with antique American Flags in the Village Chapel, to make the 4th of July Weekend a true celebration at the Jersey Shore!

Admission: Pre-Registration - Adults $8.00 each; Children 2 - 12 years $4.00; Day of Event Ticketing: Adults $12.00 each; Children $8.00 each; Under 2 year of age - Free. Food, Beer/Wine Tent have separate charges. Must be 21 and older to enter Beer/Wine Tent. No exceptions. Allaire is a Dog Friendly Park!
