Commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing with a picnic on the Museum lawn! Guests are invited to bring a picnic to enjoy on the Museum's front lawn (a limited amount of food will be available for purchase) while enjoying music and more. The Amateur Astronomers Association of Princeton will be on hand with several telescopes for solar observing. In the event of inclement weather, the event will move inside the Museum.
The Planetarium will have two programs at the special price of $5 each. Showing at 6:00 pm will be CapCom Go!, and at 7:00 pm will be Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" laser show.
While you're here, make sure you visit Many Inspired Steps on the Museum's second floor. The exhibition recounts the space race between the United States and former Soviet Union and features an actual space suit and more!
