The Atlantic Highlands Historical Society continues its Jersey Journeys with a Bus Trip to Historic Princeton
Join us for a triple play of Holiday history and fun when on Sunday, December 16 the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society spends the day in Princeton. Our itinerary will include visits to:
Morven Museum & Gardens. the former New Jersey Governor's mansion, for the annual Festival of Trees, with galleries and porches decorated for Christmas in this 18th-century house;
Princeton University Museum of Art, with some 90,000 works on display spanning the ancient to modern art;
And a guided walking tour of the Princeton University campus.
Time will be allotted for lunch on your own. Guests are also welcome to bring their own brown-bag lunches, snacks and beverages. Arrive early for coffee and… Departure will be at 8:45 a.m. sharp from Strauss Mansion Museum 27 Prospect Circle, Atlantic Highlands, with a scheduled return at approximately 6 p.m.
The cost is $75 per person and includes transportation and all admissions. Advance purchase is required. Checks can be dropped off at the Strauss Mansion, mailed to PO Box 108, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 07716 (checks must be received by December 5, Or attendees can pay online at www.ahhistory.org.
