The Historical Society of Moorestown Presents a Special Three-Part Series:
The Salem Witch Trials
The Salem Witch Trials are among the most iconic events in United States history. However, the circumstances surrounding the trials and the motivations of the participants remain misunderstood. Join Historical Society president Mickey DiCamillo at the Smith-Cadbury Mansion, 12 High St., Moorestown NJ 08057, this October under a darkened, autumn sky, in a garden lit by lantern light, for a three-part mini-series on the trials. We will recount the events of 1692, analyze archival documents from the period, and reveal the continued relevance of the trials more than 300 years after the final accused witch was hanged on Gallows Hill. And you, as an audience member, may participate in a simulated 1692 witch trial!
