By special arrangement, the Grover Cleveland Birthplace will be open for tours on Monday, March 18, 2019, Steven Grover Cleveland's birthday, from 1 to 5 p.m. At 4 p.m. there will be a celebration ceremony at the Birthplace featuring some words from Louis Picone, a presidential historian, a brief introduction of the site, and a final tour. The Grover Cleveland Birthplace, a New Jersey State Historic Site managed by the Department of the Environment, is normally open every week from Wednesday through Sunday for a group and personal guided tours.
The Birthplace is located at 207 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, N.J.; free parking is available at the site and in the adjacent parking lot of Saint Aloysious Roman Catholic Church. For group tours contact the site at 973-226-0001for scheduling. Children who visit on March 18th will receive copies of the Constitution.
