Join us for our 5th Annual BBQ and Beer Fest, with TWO days of hops and hogs in the village! This is a special fundraiser for Allaire!

About this Event

Join us for our 5th Annual BBQ and Beer Fest, with TWO DAYS of hops and hogs in the village! This is a SPECIAL fundraising event for the non-profit organization, Allaire Village Inc. Through its education programming Allaire invites over 600,000 visitors and 9,000 school group children annually to experience 19th century industrial community life.
Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th, 11 am to 5 pm.
A fun filled day with:
* A Beer/Wine Garden.
* Award-winning BBQ – menu items priced individually
* Food Trucks, Crafters, and other Vendors.
* Historical demonstrations throughout the Village
* Children’s Activities
* LIVE Music
Specific food vendors and trucks TBA. This event is held rain or shine and is DOG-FRIENDLY event, and all dogs must be properly leashed.
Tickets for beer will be sold at the entrance to the beer garden (cash only for beer/wine sales), and patrons must be 21 or older to enter the beer/wine garden.
Parking is FREE
Experience 19th century industrial community life with our period dressed historical interpreters, while you enjoy the festival! Explore the historic buildings, craft shops, retail stores, and village grounds. Listen to live music and enjoy some good barbecue with family and friends! The Historic Village at Allaire has partnered with Spark Market Solutions to give you a great day to kick off the Spring season and get out of the house to have a good time.
Take a step back in time to shop at our General Store, Bakery, Enameling Building, and Museum Shops. 18th and 19th century interactive children's games and activities. All historic homes, trade shops, and other buildings will be open for tours.
This event is a fundraiser for the Historic Village at Allaire to support our educational programming.
General Admission: Advanced Purchase Ticket
* $8 per person over the age of 13. Under 12 is FREE.
General Admission: Day of Ticket Purchase:
* $10.00 per person over the age of 13. Under 12 is FREE.
Tickets for beer and wine sold separately at the beer and wine garden. ID will be required.
ADVANCED TICKET PURCHASE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! You will receive electronic General Admission tickets.

However, he did have dental problems through most of his adult life, as did many 18th-century folk of both high and low social class. There were no regular visits to dentists, with tooth brushing and flossing in between at that time.  There weren't even dentists as we know them today. Dentistry was only just evolving as a separate profession through the eighteenth century. Barber-surgeons or surgeon-dentists provided many more services than our modern dentists.
