Departing Saturday, JUNE 13th at 8:30am, Atlantic Highlands Marina

The May cruise date has been changed to JUNE 13th because in mid-May the announced the gathering rules were too restrictive for an enjoyable cruise. The Governor recently announced relaxed rules on gatherings so that NMHA can CONFIRM that the Zen cruise WILL TAKE place on June 13th.

Right now there are 19 confirmed passengers and we can accommodate 24 (out of a boat capacity of 40) so there are FIVE space open if you want to register. Please note:
1. Bring your own breakfast (no liquids).
2. Wear a mask, except when eating.
3. Observe social distancing where possible.

Complimentary coffee and tea will be available onboard. Water and other beverages will be available at the on-board cash bar. And, yes, the bathrooms will be open!

A voyage on a boat is always a search for deeper meaning whether in the form of the Odyssey, the Heart of Darkness, or a tranquil cruise on the Navesink. Fresh air and beautiful scenery will be a welcome change for all!

At 0830 sharp, the Mariner will leave the dock at Atlantic Highlands Marina, and River Zen Masters Captain Dan, History Rik, and Wildlife Chuck will guide you into the deeper recesses of Sandy Hook Bay and the Navesink. We might even see some birds! We will return to the dock at Atlantic Highlands at approximately 1130.

Registration is required at $40 per person (maximum 40 passengers). In view of the coronavirus situation we ask that you bring your own breakfast on board (please do NOT bring beverages - coffees and tea are included in the price - water and cash bar also available onboard).

Navesink Maritime Heritage Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving knowledge and appreciation of Monmouth County's maritime heritage through programs that teach wooden boat building and the boat handling skills; through preserving the history of Monmouth County's wooden boat builders and rich maritime history; and through experiential on-the-water programs of River Rangers for middle school children and Sea Scout Ship Navesink for coed youth age 14-21.
