Monmouth County - Atlantic Highlands - BIRD WATCHING CRUISE on the NAVESINK!

Second Bird Watching Cruise

Welcome to the 2nd BIRD WATCHING CRUISE on the NAVESINK!
Saturday, April 27th: 8:30am - 11:30am from Atlantic Highlands

Following last year's very successful bird watching cruise, we have set up another for this year! On Saturday, April 27th join NMHA and Monmouth County Audubon on NMHA's second bird watching cruise on board the Classic Boat Rides' MARINER.

Starting 0830 in Atlantic Highlands, we will view the resident and migrating birds of Sandy Hook Bay and Shrewsbury River. Optimum low tide will enhance the spotting opportunity. Monmouth County Audubon Society members will be aboard to help us in our quest.

The trip should start with a look at the bayside flats at the tip of Sandy Hook, then its a run to the mouth of the picturesque Navesink River. Expect to see Brant, Cormorants, Osprey, Gulls, Terns, Vultures, Oyster Catchers, Ducks, Herons, Swallows, and so much more. Bring your binoculars and join the fun. It's a great way to start summer.

NMHA will provide a breakfast that is included in the registration fee. Water, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, cocktails, beer, and wine will be available for purchase at the onboard bar.

Maximum number is 37 people so Register HERE today! Cost is $40 per person. Breakfast aboard is included (coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, fruit).

Water, sodas, Mimosas and Bloody Marys can be purchased at the onboard bar.  Please do NOT bring any refreshments on board as these will be available for purchase on board.
