Join us for a 19th century Baseball game.

About this Event

Take me out to the ball game!!!! Join us for 1864 Base Ball (two words), as Mid Atlantic Vintage Base Ball New Jersey representatives, the Flemington Neshanock, New Brunswick Liberty, our own Monmouth Furnace, as well as a “pick nine” of players from other regional teams take the field! Enjoy the peanuts, hotdogs, and popcorn, and choose your favorite team as our village roots for hometown favorites going head to head! Games will feature the rules, uniforms, equipment, and customs of 1864! A day of old-fashioned entertainment, music, food, and fun! Learn about the history of America’s favorite sport and watch our local “boys of summer”! Play Ball!

Saturday, June 29  - Burlington Township, Burlington County Historic West Hill Manor  220th Anniversary Historic West Hill Manor will celebrate its 220th Anniversary on Saturday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm.  Talk to Colonial soldiers about their life on the march and in battle. Learn to make your own ice cream and how to use a spinning wheel. The kids will enjoy our new Toy Room and play with toys from the past. Our handmade dollhouse will also be on display. At 3:00 pm, there will be a special presentation on Freemasonry and The Underground Railroad.  Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child under 12.
